Diptyque has always drawn inspiration from nature, whether in the wild or tamed by man. The enchantment of the natural world inspires perennial fascination and cultivates creative bloom.

Corail Oscuro is a tribute to coral, its intricate red patterns rippling to the rhythm of the waters, the vibrant color contrasting with the opacity of the depths. Renaissance painters had a name for this interplay of light and dark: chiaroscuro. This is the inspiration for the name of Corail Oscuro eau de parfum. Combining the work of perfumer Alexandra Carlin with the drawings of Nigel Peake, this olfactory and visual composition brings an underwater spectacle to life.

Corail Oscuro is the effervescent element of Les Essences de Diptyque (The Essences of Diptyque), a collection that freely interprets unscented aspects of nature, fluctuating between the realistic and the fantastical. Delicate and surreal, the six compositions in this collection are the product of an alliance between the perfumer's nose and the hand of the artist. Each creation celebrates one of nature's treasures, reinventing it in fragrance and illustration. Revealed in all their beauty, these phenomena invite us to pause and admire them.
